TERMS AND CONDITIONS GOVERNING SENTOSA PASSPORT & GOLDEN JUBILEE GRAND DRAW PROMOTION
11 March 2022 to 31 August 2022
1. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
1.1. By participating in the “Sentosa Passport & Golden Jubilee Grand Draw Promotion" (the "Promotion"), each Participant (as defined below) confirms that he/she has read, understood and agrees to be bound by these terms & conditions set out herein, including any other requirements set out in any Promotion-related promotional material, and all amendments, additions, replacements and modifications thereto as may be made from time to time (the “Terms and Conditions”). This Promotion is organised by Sentosa Development Corporation ("SDC").
1.2. As a condition of entry into the Promotion, each Participant affirms and represents that he/she is above 18 years of age and agrees to be bound in all respects by these Terms and Conditions (or if he/she is below the age of 18, he/she has sought and obtained parental/legal guardian consent for the entry into the Promotion and to be bound in all respects by these Terms and Conditions). If required by the Organisers, Participants shall submit proof of parental/legal guardian consent for their participation in the Contest.
2. Promotion Eligibility Criteria
2.1. The Promotion is open to all nationalities residing within and outside Singapore:
a. aged 18 years and above (as at the date of their participating Golden Jubilee Grand Draw entry);
b. who have signed up for a Digital Passport (“Digital Passport”) at passport.sentosa.com.sg;
c. who meet the Qualifying Transaction (as defined below) requirement as set out in Clause 3; and
d. who does not fall within the Excluded Categories, (each a “Participant” and collectively the “Participants”).
2.2. “Excluded Categories” refer to:
a. directors and employees of: SDC and its subsidiaries and any other persons involved in organising, promoting and/or conducting the Promotion;
b. immediate family members of persons who fall within the class of persons referred to in Clause 2.2 (a) above. Immediate family members mean spouses, children, parents, parents-in-law and siblings;
c. any person who is or becomes insane, deceased, insolvent or is the subject of a criminal investigation, or has criminal proceedings instituted against him/her in any jurisdiction (at the time of entry and/or the draw);
d. any person whose participation in and/or association with the Promotion may cause (in the sole and absolute opinion of SDC) SDC and/or the Promotion any disrepute, contempt, scandal, ridicule, or cause SDC and/or the Promotion to be perceived unfavourably; and
e. any other person or class of persons deemed ineligible or notified by SDC as being ineligible from time to time.
2.3. Participants that fail to meet the requirement listed in clause 2.1 (a), 2.2 (a) and 2.2 (b) will still be eligible to participate in the Digital Passport component and claim the Completion Prize(s).
2.4. SDC reserves the right (in its sole and absolute discretion) to determine the eligibility of any person in relation to the Promotion, and SDC may at any time during the Promotion (and whether before, during or after a Lucky Draw), disqualify any person from participating in the Promotion.
3. Promotion Mechanic and Conditions of Participation
3.1. The Promotion will run from 0000hrs (SGT) on 11 March 2022 to 2359hrs (SGT) on 31 August 2022, or such other date(s) as may be determined by SDC in its sole and absolute discretion from time to time without prior notice in whatever mode of communication as SDC deems fit (“Promotion Period”).
3.2. To participate, all Qualifying Transactions must be submitted within the Promotion Period and meet the criteria as outlined in Clause 3.3.
3.3. “Qualifying Transaction” refers to all purchases made from businesses, which includes attractions, retail, F&B, tours, and hotel stays on Sentosa Island only, with a minimum spend of SGD20 in a single receipt. Please note the following exceptions:
a. Purchases made from the Sentosa website (www.sentosa.com.sg) and official websites of all businesses in Sentosa as stated in Annex A will also be accepted;
b. Invoices/receipts from all active Singapore Tourism Board (STB) licensed Online Travel Agents (“OTA”) and Travel Agents (“TA”) listed at trust.stb.gov.sg/site/content/tagaem/landing-page/travel-agent.html will also be accepted;
c. Invoices/receipts from all overseas Online Travel Agents (OTA); and
d. Bundled packages offered by TA and OTA which include attractions or offerings outside of Sentosa Island shall be excluded as a “Qualifying Transaction”.
3.4. Each Qualifying Transaction will entitle a Participant to receive one Digital Stamp (”Digital Stamp”) and one chance at the Jubilee Grand Draw (“Jubilee Grand Draw”), up to a maximum of ten (10) Digital Stamps and ten (10) Jubilee Grand Draw chances per calendar day, upon meeting the conditions set out in Clause 3.3 and subject to these Terms and Conditions.
3.5. Each Qualifying Transactions paid using a Mastercard credit or debit card, subjected to verification, will also receive one (1) Mastercard Monthly & Grand Draw chance.
3.6. Participants will be eligible for a Completion Gift (“Completion Gift”) upon completion of the tenth (10th) and twentieth (20th) Digital Stamp. Sentosa Islander members are eligible for the Completion Gift upon completion of the tenth (10th) and eighteen (18th) Digital Stamps.
3.7. Participants are required to register their Digital Passport at the website listed in Clause 2.1 (b) and the original receipt of each Qualifying Transaction is to be uploaded for verification before issuance of the Digital Stamp and Jubilee Grand Draw chance.
3.8. Participants are entitled to have multiple Digital Passports registered under the same particulars, but Digital Stamps are not transferrable between Digital Passports and may not be combined for the Completion Gift redemption.
3.9. Original receipt of each Qualifying Transaction that does not fulfil the following conditions will be disqualified:-
a. receipt should be uploaded within two (2) days from the date of purchase (inclusive of purchase date);
b. receipt should clearly state in English, the “Merchant Name”, “Address”, “Date of Purchase”, “Total Amount in Singapore Dollars” and “Total Amount Paid in Singapore Dollars”;
c. receipts must be electronic receipts;
d. receipts should not be defaced or tampered with; and
e. a Mastercard Charge Slip, credit card transaction history or any other proof of purchase may be required to be produced by the participant for verification of purchases using a Mastercard credit or debit card.
f. effective 19 May 2022, receipts dated 19 May 2022 to 31 August 2022 (both dates inclusive), that are submitted within seven (7) days from the date of purchase (inclusive of purchase date) will be eligible as a Qualifying Transaction if all other conditions listed in clause 3.9 are fulfilled.
3.10. Digital Stamps and Jubilee Grand Draw chances will be issued within forty-eight hours from time of submission for all Qualifying Transactions subjected to the conditions listed in clause 3.9 above.
3.11. Redemption of the Completion Prize can be done at any of following Sentosa Ticketing Counters:– Vivocity Level 3, Resorts World Station, Imbiah Lookout or Beach Station within the operating hours listed at www.sentosa.com.sg/contact-us.
Completion Gifts are to be claimed by 30 September 2022. If a Participant fails to claim his/her Completion Gift within the time frame, his/her Completion Gift will be forfeited and the Participant shall not have any claim against SDC for such forfeiture. SDC reserves the right to deal with the unclaimed Completion Gift(s) in its sole discretion.
4. Digital Passport Completion Gifts
4.1. The Completion Gifts listed in Annex B will be issued at random upon completion of the tenth (10th) stamp. Gifts are subject to availability and on a while-stock-last basis. SDC has the right to replace any Completion Gift with an item of similar value at any time without prior notice.
4.2. Completion Gifts are non-transferrable, non-refundable, non-assignable, non-exchangeable for cash, credit or any other items. SDC will be under no obligation to replace or pay to the Participant the value of any Completion Gifts that are not redeemed by the Participant before 30 September 2022.
4.3. Islander Members are required to present their Islander Membership card together with the Digital Passport at the redemption counters to collect the eighteen stamp Completion Gift. Islander Members that fail to do so will not be eligible to claim the Completion Gift on the eighteen (18th) stamp but may still complete the Digital Passport and claim the Completion Gift on the twentieth (20th) stamp.
5. Monthly Draw
5.1. From April 2022 to August 2022, one (1) lucky winner will be drawn monthly (“Monthly Draw”) from all accumulated Qualifying Transactions during the Promotion Period to win an exclusive Sentosa Experience Prize worth SGD1,000.
5.2. The Monthly Draw will be conducted at the schedule listed below for each month from May 2022 to September 2022, for a total of five (5) winners. Winners will be notified by email.
a. First Monthly Draw to be conducted on 6 May 2022, 11am to 12pm at Beach Station Ticketing Counter, for Qualifying Transactions completed between 11 March 2022 and 30 April 2022 and uploaded by 1 May 2022;
b. Second Monthly Draw to be conducted on 18 June 2022, 11am to 12pm at Beach Station Ticketing Counter, for Qualifying Transactions completed between 1 May 2022 and 31 May 2022 and uploaded by 6 June 2022;
c. Third Monthly Draw to be conducted on 16 July 2022, 11am to 12pm at Beach Station Ticketing Counter, for Qualifying Transactions completed between 1 June 2022 and 30 June 2022 and uploaded by 6 July 2022;
d. Fourth Monthly Draw to be conducted on 13 August 2022, 11am to 12pm at Beach Station Ticketing Counter, for Qualifying Transactions completed between 1 July 2022 and 31 July 2022 and uploaded by 6 August; and
e. Fifth Draw to be conducted on 17 September 2022, 11am to 12pm at Beach Station Ticketing Counter, for Qualifying Transactions completed between 1 August 2022 and 31 August 2022 and uploaded by 6 September 2022.
5.3. Winners of the Monthly Draw are required to provide photo identification for verification during the prize collection.
5.4. All Monthly Draw prizes are to be collected by 30 September 2022. Prizes that are left unclaimed by 30 September 2022 will be deemed to be forfeited. All winners whose Monthly Draw Prize have been forfeited hereunder shall not be entitled to any payment or compensation. Failure to respond to any notification from SDC in relation to any Monthly Draw Prize won, or to provide any information or material required for the redemption/collection of any Monthly Draw Prize, shall be deemed to be a failure to claim/ redeem such Monthly Draw Prize. SDC reserves the right to donate any unclaimed or unredeemed Monthly Draw Prizes to charities of its choice.
5.5. Monthly Draw Prizes won are final and non-transferrable, non-refundable, non-assignable, non-exchangeable for cash, credit or any other items. SDC will be under no obligation to replace or pay to the Participant the value of any Monthly Draw Prizes that are not redeemed by 30 September 2022 and/or utilised by the Participant within the validity period and/or in accordance with the specific terms and conditions governing the utilisation of the prize.
5.6. SDC reserves the right to deny or claw back any Monthly Draw Prize awarded to any winner should the winner subsequently be found to be disqualified or ineligible to participate in the Promotion. SDC’s determination on all matters relating to the Promotion shall be final, conclusive and binding. No correspondence will be entertained.
5.7. Winners of the Monthly Draw will not be eligible for the Mastercard Monthly Draw (“Mastercard Monthly Draw”) listed in clause 7.
6. Jubilee Grand Draw
6.1. The Jubilee Grand Draw will be conducted on 24 September 2022, 11am to 12pm at Beach Station Ticketing Counter, from all Qualifying Transactions subject to the conditions listed in clause 3.9 above during the Promotion Period.
6.2. Winners of the Monthly Draw and Mastercard Monthly Draw will still be eligible for the Jubilee Grand Draw. Winners of the Mastercard Grand Draw will not be eligible for the Jubilee Grand Draw.
6.3. A total of six (6) Participants will be drawn to win one of the following listed prizes:
a. One (1) Grand prize of SGD10,000 cash and Sentosa Experience products worth up to SGD40,000.
b. One (1) First runner up prize worth up to SGD10,000 of Sentosa Experience products.
c. One (1) Second runner up prize worth up to SGD5,000 of Sentosa Experience products.
d. Three (3) consolation prizes worth up to SGD1,000 of Sentosa Experience products each.
6.4. Winners of the Jubilee Grand Draw will be notified by email.
6.5. All Jubilee Grand Draw prizes are to be collected by 31 October 2022. Jubilee Grand Draw Prizes that are left unclaimed by 31 October 2022 will be deemed to be forfeited. All winners whose Jubilee Grand Draw Prize have been forfeited hereunder shall not be entitled to any payment or compensation. Failure to respond to any notification from SDC in relation to any Jubilee Grand Draw Prize won, or to provide any information or material required for the redemption/collection of any Jubilee Grand Draw Prize, shall be deemed to be a failure to claim/ redeem such Jubilee Grand Draw prize. SDC reserves the right to donate any unclaimed or unredeemed Jubilee Grand Draw Prizes to charities of its choice.
6.6. Winners of the Jubilee Grand Draw are required to collect their prize in person and to provide photo identification for verification during the prize collection.
6.7. Jubilee Grand Draw Prizes won are final and non-transferrable, non-refundable, non-assignable, non-exchangeable for cash, credit or any other items. SDC will be under no obligation to replace or pay to the Participant the value of any Jubilee Grand Draw Prizes that are not redeemed by the deadline stated in clause 6.5 and/or utilised by the participant within the validity period and/or in accordance with the specific terms and conditions governing the utilisation of the prize.
6.8. SDC reserves the right to deny or claw back any Jubilee Grand Draw Prize awarded to any winner should the winner subsequently be found to be disqualified or ineligible to participate in the Promotion. SDC’s determination on all matters relating to the Promotion shall be final, conclusive and binding. No correspondence will be entertained.
7. Mastercard Monthly & Grand Draw
7.1. During the Promotion Period, all Qualifying Transactions paid with a Mastercard subjected to the conditions listed in Clause 3.9 will be eligible for the Mastercard Monthly Draw (“Mastercard Monthly Draw”) and Mastercard Grand Draw (“Mastercard Grand Draw”).
7.2. Winners of the Mastercard Monthly Draw will not be eligible for the Monthly Draw listed in Clause 5 above.
7.3. From April 2022 to August 2022, four (4) Mastercard users will be drawn monthly according to the qualifying period and draw dates stated in clause 5.2, to win a Mastercard sponsored Sentosa Experience prize worth up to SGD1,000, for a total of twenty (20) winners. Winners will be notified by email.
7.4. All Mastercard Monthly Draw prizes are to be collected by 30 September 2022. Prizes that are left unclaimed by 30 September 2022 will be deemed to be forfeited. All winners whose Mastercard Monthly Draw Prize have been forfeited hereunder shall not be entitled to any payment or compensation. Failure to respond to any notification from SDC in relation to any Mastercard Monthly Draw Prize won, or to provide any information or material required for the redemption/collection of any Mastercard Monthly Draw Prize, shall be deemed to be a failure to claim/ redeem such Mastercard Monthly Draw Prize. SDC reserves the right to donate any unclaimed or unredeemed Mastercard Monthly Draw Prizes to charities of its choice.
7.5. In addition, seven (7) Mastercard users will be selected in the Mastercard Grand Draw to win one of the following Mastercard sponsored prizes:-
a. One (1) Grand prize worth up to SGD20,000 of Sentosa Experience products.
b. One (1) First runner up prize worth up to SGD20,000 of Sentosa Experience products.
c. Five (5) consolation prizes worth up to SGD1,000 of Sentosa Experience products each.
7.6. The Mastercard Grand Draw prizes are to be collected by 31 October 2022. Mastercard Grand Draw prizes that are left unclaimed by 31 October 2022 will be deemed to be forfeited. Winner whose Mastercard Grand Draw prize has been forfeited hereunder shall not be entitled to any payment or compensation. Failure to respond to any notification from SDC in relation to the Mastercard Grand Draw prize won, or to provide any information or material required for the redemption/collection of the Mastercard Grand Draw prize, shall be deemed to be a failure to claim/ redeem such Mastercard Grand Draw prize. SDC reserves the right to donate any unclaimed or unredeemed Mastercard Grand Draw prize to charities of its choice.
7.7. Winner of the Mastercard Grand Draw will not be eligible for the Jubilee Grand Draw listed in Clause 6 above.
7.8. The qualifying period and draw date of the Mastercard Monthly Draw will be conducted together with the Monthly Draw listed in clause 5.2 and the Mastercard Grand Draw will be conducted together with the Jubilee Grand Draw listed in Clause 6.1.
7.9. Winners of the Mastercard Monthly & Grand Draw are required to provide photo identification for verification and the Mastercard charge slip, a credit card transaction history or any other proof of purchase for the winning Mastercard entry upon prize collection. Collection of the Mastercard grand draw prizes is to be done in person.
7.10. Mastercard Monthly Draw Prizes won are final and non-transferrable, non-refundable, non-assignable, non-exchangeable for cash, credit or any other items. SDC will be under no obligation to replace or pay to the Participant the value of any Monthly Draw Prizes that are not redeemed by 30 September 2022 and/or utilised by the Participant within the validity period and/or in accordance with the specific terms and conditions governing the utilisation of the prize.
7.11. Mastercard Grand Draw Prizes won are final and non-transferrable, non-refundable, non-assignable, non-exchangeable for cash, credit or any other items. SDC will be under no obligation to replace or pay to the Participant the value of the Mastercard Grand Draw Prizes that are not redeemed by 31 October 2022 and/or utilised by the participant within the validity period and/or in accordance with the specific terms and conditions governing the utilisation of the prize.
7.12. SDC reserves the right to deny or claw back any Mastercard Monthly or Grand Draw Prize awarded to any winner should the winner subsequently be found to be disqualified or ineligible to participate in the Promotion. SDC’s determination on all matters relating to the Promotion shall be final, conclusive and binding. No correspondence will be entertained.
8. General
8.1. SDC will not be responsible for any incomplete, lost, late, damaged, illegible, or misdirected forms or email communication, for technical hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic transmission, in relation to any platforms or systems, which may limit a Participant’s ability to participate in the Promotion.
8.2. By participating in the Promotion, all Participants agree and undertake to, at all times, indemnify, keep indemnified, and hold SDC, its employees and agents harmless against all losses (including direct, indirect, incidental and/or consequential losses), damages (including general, special, and/or punitive damages), demands, injuries (other than personal injury caused by SDC’s negligence), claims, costs, penalties, interests and fees (including all legal fees as between solicitor and client or otherwise on a full indemnity basis whether or not incurred in respect of any real, anticipated, or threatened legal proceedings), howsoever caused by, arising or resulting from, whether directly or indirectly, their participation in the Promotion, acceptance or usage of any Prize, and/or any breach or purported breach of these terms and conditions and/or any applicable law.
8.3. SDC makes no warranty or representation as to the quality, merchantability or fitness of purpose of the merchants’ goods and services in respect of the Completion, Monthly Draw, Monthly Mastercard Draw, Jubilee Grand Draw and Mastercard Grand Draw Prizes. We will not be responsible or held liable for any loss of, damage to or defects in any Completion, Monthly Draw, Monthly Mastercard Draw, Jubilee Grand Draw and Mastercard Grand Draw Prizes, or for any loss, injury or harm to any person in connection with redeeming or using the Completion, Monthly Draw, Monthly Mastercard Draw, Jubilee Grand Draw and Mastercard Grand Draw Prizes.
8.4. SDC will not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage whatsoever arising directly or indirectly howsoever in connection with or as a result of the redemption process.
8.5. SDC has the right to suspend, cancel or end this Promotion or change any Terms and Conditions at any time without providing any prior notice. This includes changing the rules relating to what qualifies for the Promotion and the dates of the Promotion.
8.6. If there is any difference between these Terms and Conditions and the contents of any brochure, marketing and/or promotional material relating to this Promotion, these Terms and Conditions will prevail.
8.7. SDC decision on all matters relating to the Promotion shall be final and binding on all Participants, including without limitation, any decision on the eligibility of any person or cancellation or suspension of the Promotion, without any obligation to furnish notice and/or reason. No correspondence or appeal will be entertained.
8.8. SDC reserves the right to disqualify or disregard any Participant who does not comply with the terms and conditions contained herein.
8.9. Failure by SDC to exercise any of its right or remedy under these terms and conditions contained herein does not constitute a waiver of that right or remedy.
8.10. The laws of Singapore shall apply to these Terms and Conditions, and any disputes between you and SDC will be dealt with in the courts of Singapore.
8.11. A person who is not a party to any agreement governed by these terms and conditions shall not have the right under the Contracts (Right of Third Parties) Act (Cap 53B) to enforce any of these terms and conditions.
8.12. By taking part in this Promotion, you agree and consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data collected in connection with this Promotion, for SDC to administer this Promotion and contact you in relation to the Promotion (including but not limited to verification of the Qualifying Transactions and the administration of Prizes) and for record keeping purposes. In the event that you wish to withdraw your consent for use of your personal data, you shall be deemed to have withdrawn voluntarily from this Promotion and all your entitlements under this Promotion shall also be withdrawn. As a winner of any of the Prizes, you also agree to participate and co-operate with SDC in all promotional activities relating to this Promotion, including but not limited to being interviewed, filmed and photographed. You agree to grant SDC a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such recorded footage and/or photographs of you in all media worldwide, including online social networking sites and you agree that you shall not be entitled to the payment of any fee for such use. SDC shall not be liable for any third party’s misuse of the information provided by you and/or images of you as a result of your participation in this Promotion.
