Terms & Conditions - Sunset Yoga at FOC Sentosa

• The Yoga Class will start at 18:00, and there is one session on this day only. Each package includes a complimentary Yoga by the Beach session for 1 hour, and a $50 Food & Beverage voucher, both for 1 person only. Complimentary Yoga by the Beach session only is not available.

• The F&B voucher that you are purchasing can only be redeemed on the day of the Yoga Session. It is inclusive of GST and Service Charge and can’t be exchanged for cash or used on any other day. If the value of the voucher is not fully redeemed, no refund in cash or in other means will be given for the balance.

• Just show your email confirmation at the entrance to get access to the Yoga by The Beach. Once you complete the purchase, FOC Sentosa Team will contact you to reserve a table at FOC Sentosa Restaurant for you and your friends after Sunset Yoga by the Beach.

• It is a rain or shine event, and no refunds will be issued. If the PSI reaches 301 or above on the day of the Yoga session, the session shall be suspended or cancelled. Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC) and FOC reserve the right to delay the commencement of the session in the event of inclement weather. Should the inclement weather persist after the delay, the session will be cancelled.

• All guests are required to bring their own mats. Mats will not be provided due to hygiene reasons.

• Please note that there are no showers at FOC Sentosa, but there are public showers 50m from the entrance that you may use at the end of the Sunset Yoga Class.

• For purposes of ensuring the safety of all individuals at the Yoga session (including but not limited to the prevention of accidents and adhering to necessary Safe Management Measures), all guests shall obey the instruction(s) of any staff. If any guest fails to obey such instruction(s), he or she shall be removed immediately from the Yoga session in the sole and final discretion of SDC.

• No individual at the Yoga session shall make or exploit any recording, transmission and/or broadcast, whether audio, visual or audio visual, by any means or media whatsoever of the session (including any activities or performances of the session) for commercial or for-profit purposes. If any individual at the Yoga session makes such recording, transmission and/or broadcast, or if SDC has grounds to suspect that such recording, transmission and/or broadcast is being made, SDC may, without compensation or explanation, search, confiscate and/or remove any equipment used or suspected to be used for the making of such recording, transmission and/or broadcast. 

• All individuals entering the Yoga session are deemed to consent to being photographed, recorded or videoed by SDC and FOC, and herewith grant SDC and FOC permission to use and/or broadcast such photographs, records and/or videos for SDC’s and FOC’s commercial, publicity and/or promotional purposes (which may include sharing such photographs and/or videos with SDC’s and FOC’s commercial, media, advertising and other partners for such purposes). 

• Whilst reasonable precautions will be taken by SDC to ensure the guest’s safety during and at the Yoga session, all guests take part in the Yoga session at his or her own risk and shall take reasonable care of himself or herself. To the fullest extent permissible by law, none of SDC, its related corporations and associated companies, the employees, officers, third party service provider(s), contractor(s) (and the sub-contractor(s) engaged by such contractor(s)) and agent(s) of SDC and its related corporations and associated companies, and sponsors or co-sponsors will be responsible or held liable for any injury or death of a guest howsoever arising from preparation for, attendance at or participation in the Yoga session. The guest is strongly encouraged to consult his or her medical practitioner prior to the Yoga session.

• To the fullest extent permissible by law, SDC shall not be liable for any loss, damage or expense, however caused, suffered or incurred by the guest in connection with the Yoga session, whether in an action based on contract, tort or otherwise. SDC shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, however caused, suffered or incurred by the guest in connection with the Yoga session, whether in an action based on contract, tort or otherwise.
 

Terms & Conditions - Sunrise Yoga at Ola Beach Club

1. DEFINITIONS

1.1 "Event" means the event named "Yoga by the Beach at Ola Beach Club”.

1.2 "SDC" means Sentosa Development Corporation.

1.3 "Event Entry Purchase" means the purchase of a Ticket from SDC via the Sentosa Online Store.

1.4 “Event Guest” means an individual who holds a Ticket which has been sold and/or issued in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

1.5 "Sentosa Online Store" means the online store at sentosa.com.sg.

1.6 "Ticket" means the the physical ticket redeemable with the confirmation email sent from the Sentosa Online Store confirming the purchase of a ticket, allowing entry to the Event in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

1.7 "Ticket Purchase" means a purchase of a Ticket via the Sentosa Online Store from SDC.

1.8 “Staff” means a member of the Event’s official staff (for the avoidance of doubt, including without limitation police, auxiliary police and/or security officers providing security arrangements for the Event and SDC’s employees, officers and agents).

2. TICKETS

2.1 A Ticket, can be purchased from SDC via the Sentosa Online Store. Ticket prices as reflected on the Sentosa Online Store are in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and include 7% Goods and Services Tax (GST).

2.2 Guest must redeem a Ticket using the confirmation email from any of the Sentosa Ticketing Counters. Click here for the locations of counters and opening hours.

2.3 Island admission (if applicable) and transportation charges apply separately.

2.4 Each Ticket includes a complimentary Yoga by the Beach session for 1 hour, and 1 set of Power Breakfast by Ola Beach Club, both for 1 person only. Complimentary Yoga by the Beach session only is not available. Ticket with breakfast is required for every participant of Yoga by the Beach at Ola Beach Club.

2.5 An individual making an Event Entry Purchase is deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the decisions of SDC. Such individual is responsible for ensuring that he or she has read and understood these Terms and Conditions prior to making an Event Entry Purchase.

2.6 A confirmation email from the Sentosa Online Store will be sent upon successful Ticket Purchase. Upon such confirmation, the Ticket Purchase is deemed to be complete and final.

2.7 Event Entry Purchases shall cease at such date and time as determined by SDC in its sole and absolute discretion. SDC reserves the right to stop or suspend any or all Event Entry Purchases at any time for any reason.

2.8 An Event Guest shall be required to use the Ticket to physically access the Event.

2.9 All Tickets are non-refundable and not exchangeable for cash and shall not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, traded, resold, transferred or exchanged by any individual for any purposes, including but not limited to wet weather conditions.

3. EVENT

3.1 The Event is a rain or shine event. In the event that the PSI reaches 301 or above on the day of the Event, the Event shall be suspended or cancelled. SDC reserves the right to delay the commencement of the Event in the event of inclement weather. Should the inclement weather persist after the delay, the session will be conducted indoors at Ola Beach Club.

3.2 All Event Guests are required to bring their own mats. Mats will not be provided due to hygiene reason.

3.3 Food or beverages brought in and/or purchased from outside the Event shall not be allowed into the Event.

3.4 For purposes of ensuring the safety of all individuals at the Event (including but not limited to the prevention of accidents and adhering to necessary Safe Management Measures), an Event Guest shall obey the instruction(s) of any Staff. If an Event Guest fails to obey such instruction(s), he or she shall be removed immediately from the Event in the sole and final discretion of SDC.

3.5 SDC will not be responsible for any loss or theft of or damage to a Ticket and shall not under any circumstances be obliged or required to replace a lost, stolen or damaged Ticket.

3.6 No individual (including without limitation an Event Guest) at the Event shall make or exploit any recording, transmission and/or broadcast, whether audio, visual or audio visual, by any means or media whatsoever of the Event (including any activities or performances of the Event) for commercial or for-profit purposes. If any individual at the Event makes such recording, transmission and/or broadcast, or if SDC has grounds to suspect that such recording, transmission and/or broadcast is being made, SDC may, without compensation or explanation, search, confiscate and/or remove any equipment used or suspected to be used for the making of such recording, transmission and/or broadcast.

3.7 All individuals (including without limitation Event Guests) entering the Event are deemed to consent to being photographed, recorded or videoed by SDC and herewith grant SDC permission to use and/or broadcast such photographs, records and/or videos for SDC’s commercial, publicity and/or promotional purposes (which may include sharing such photographs and/or videos with SDC’s commercial, media, advertising and other partners for such purposes).

3.8 Whilst reasonable precautions will be taken by SDC to ensure the Event Guest’s safety during and at the Event, the Event Guest takes part in the Event at his or her own risk and shall take reasonable care of himself or herself. To the fullest extent permissible by law, none of SDC, its related corporations and associated companies, the employees, officers, third party service provider(s), contractor(s) (and the sub-contractor(s) engaged by such contractor(s)) and agent(s) of SDC and its related corporations and associated companies, and Event sponsors or co-sponsors will be responsible or held liable for any injury or death of an Event Guest howsoever arising from preparation for, attendance at or participation in the Event. The Event Guest is strongly encouraged to consult his or her medical practitioner prior to an Event Entry Purchase and before the Event.

3.9 To the fullest extent permissible by law, SDC shall not be liable for any loss, damage or expense, however caused, suffered or incurred by the Event Guest in connection with the Event, whether in an action based on contract, tort or otherwise. SDC shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, however caused, suffered or incurred by the Event Guest in connection with the Event, whether in an action based on contract, tort or otherwise.

3.10 SDC reserves the right to stop, cancel, vary, amend, change or postpone the Event without any prior notification. For the avoidance of doubt, SDC is not liable to any Event Guest for any changes to any format, line-up, facility or element of the Event.

3.11 SDC reserves the right to add and amend these Terms and Conditions without prior notification.

Terms & Conditions - Yoga by the Beach at Palawan Green

Booking Terms & Conditions for Yoga by the Beach at Palawan Green (“Event”)

Sentosa Development Corporation (“SDC”) makes available access to the Event for booking by members of the public. These terms and conditions of use, as may be amended from time to time, constitute an agreement (“Agreement”) between SDC and you in relation to your booking and your visit to the Event on Sentosa island. By proceeding with your booking, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (the “T&Cs”).

1. General

1.1 Prior booking of your visit to the Event is required on all days of the Event including Public Holidays.

1.2 Bookings may not be sold, transferred, offered for sale or traded for any purpose.

1.3 SDC reserves the right to approve or refuse any booking by any person, or cancel any confirmed bookings which SDC reasonably believes are in breach of these T&Cs.

1.4 If you are below 18 years of age, you are required to seek your parent or legal guardian’s permission and confirm that your parent or legal guardian has consented to the terms of this Agreement on your behalf.

1.5 All Event visitors are required to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Bookings

2.1 Timeslot indicated is accurate at the time of booking.

2.2 Event visitors are required to vacate the Event venue within fifteen (15) minutes after the end of their booked timeslot.

2.3 All bookings shall be made through www.sentosa.com.sg/beachreservations. No other forms of booking and/or communication will be entertained.

2.4 Successful bookings shall be notified via an email confirmation to the email address provided by you at the point of booking. A booking shall only be deemed to have been confirmed when an email confirmation is sent to you confirming the booking.

2.5 You may change or cancel your booking up to the day of the confirmed booking.

2.6 The use of multiple identities to circumvent these T&Cs or any applicable laws and regulations is strictly prohibited. If you or any Event visitor is found to be in breach of these T&Cs and/or found to have circumvented, abused and/or willfully disregarded these T&Cs to make bookings may be prohibited from making any future booking for the Event.

3. Event

3.1 Prior to Event entry and for purposes of verification, Event visitors are required to present a valid confirmation of the booking and their identification information at the admission point, failing which no Event entry will be allowed (and in which case SDC shall have no liability to you for any loss, damage, cost and/or expense suffered as a result). Event visitors shall cooperate with all requests for verification.

3.2 Prior to and for purposes of Event entry, all Event visitors as indicated in your booking must be present at the admission point of the Event, failing which no Event entry will be allowed (and in which case SDC shall have no liability to you for any loss, damage, cost and/or expense suffered as a result).

4. Collection and Use of Personal Data

4.1 For the purposes of this section, “personal data” refers to data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified from that data, or from that data and other information to which SDC and/or its related corporations has or is likely to have access.

4.2 This section supplements the Data Protection Policy. Please review and ensure that you fully understand and agree to the terms set out in this section and in the Data Protection Policy.

4.3 Personal details such as your name, email address and personal mobile phone number will be collected, used, disclosed and processed for the following purposes:

i. to process, administer, manage and validate your booking made under the Chope Platform, which may involve communicating with you via various modes of communications such as e-mail, phone call and text messages about your booking;

ii. dealing with or facilitating customer service, carrying out your instructions, or dealing with or responding to any enquiries given by you or on your behalf;

iii. preventing or investigating any fraud, abuse of the service, unlawful activity or omission or misconduct, whether or not there is any suspicion of the aforementioned;

iv. complying with or as required by any applicable law, governmental or regulatory requirements of any relevant jurisdiction;

v. to conduct trending, research, analysis and development activities (including but not limited to data analytics, surveys, product and service development and/or profiling) to improve our services and/or to enhance guest experience;

vi. producing statistics and research for internal and statutory reporting and/or record-keeping requirements.

4.4 By providing your personal data in connection with your booking, you hereby agree and consent to the collection, use, disclosure and/or processing of your personal data by the SDC and its related corporations and their third party service providers, agents and/or affiliates (including The Chope Group Pte. Ltd. and its related corporations), which may be sited within or outside of Singapore, for the purposes listed herein and in the Data Protection Policy.

4.5 Where you have provided personal data of individuals other than yourself, you warrant and represent that the personal data of these individuals are legitimate and accurate, that you are validly acting on behalf of and have the authority from each of these individuals, and that you have obtained each of these individuals’ consent, to disclose their personal data to SDC and its related corporations and for SDC and its related corporations to collect, use, disclose and process their personal data for the purposes listed herein and in accordance to the terms herein.

5. Non-Liability and Indemnity

5.1 In visiting the Event, Event visitors do so at their own risk, and shall ensure that they are physically and medically able to participate in such activities within the Event venue.

5.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, none of SDC, its related corporations and associated companies and the employees, officers, third party service providers, contractors and agents shall be responsible or held liable for any loss, damage, injury, cost or expense (including any loss of profit or any special, indirect or consequential loss) however suffered or incurred by or caused to you arising out of or in connection with your access or use of the booking platform and/or your visit to the Event, whether in an action based on contract, tort or otherwise.

5.3 You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SDC, its related corporations and associated companies and the employees, officers, third party service providers, contractor and agents (collectively, the “Indemnified Parties”) from and against all actions, proceedings, claims, liabilities (whether criminal or civil), cost, expenses, fees and damages suffered and legal fees and costs incurred by any of the Indemnified Parties arising out of or in connection with your breach of this Agreement and/or your access or use of the booking platform and/or your visit to the Event.

6. Terms of use and conduct of Event visitors

6.1 Event visitors shall be responsible for their personal belongings and/or personal equipment while visiting the Event.

6.2 In visiting the Event, Event visitors are required to take care of the Event installations and not cause any damage to the premises and/or Event venue and/or any of the Event installations.

6.3 Event visitors shall leave the Event venue in a tidy and clean condition.

6.4 No smoking is allowed at the Event venue.

6.5 Event visitors shall be mindful of other Event visitors and members of the public within the Event venue and in the vicinity of the Event venue and shall cooperate with SDC staff to ensure a safe environment for all such Event visitors and members of the public. Event visitors shall adhere to all reasonable requests made by SDC staff.

6.6 SDC reserves the right to remove from the Event venue Event visitors who are uncooperative, or whose actions and conduct are deemed to be unreasonable and/or detrimental to the enjoyment, well-being and safety of other Event visitors and members of the public.

6.7 Event visitors shall enter the Event venue in accordance with their booking details and timing, and shall vacate the Event venue at the expiration of the booking timing.

6.8 SDC reserves the right to close the Event venue or any part thereof, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation, circumstances beyond SDC's control or in the interest of public safety or if closure is directed by the authorities, with or without prior notice. SDC bears no liability whatsoever in respect of such closures. SDC’s decision shall be final and conclusive.

7. Miscellaneous

7.1 Event visitors shall comply with the Sentosa Development Corporation Act and its regulations, and all rules, orders, directives or codes issued by SDC from time to time.

7.2 SDC may, in our sole discretion, update and amend this Agreement at any time and without liability or prior notice to you. By proceeding with your booking and your visit to the Event following such update shall constitute your agreement to be bound by the updated terms of this Agreement.

7.3 You may not assign or transfer any or part of your rights or obligations under this Agreement to any party.

7.4 No failure by SDC to enforce any provision in this Agreement shall constitute a waiver of the right to subsequently enforce that provision or any other provision of this Agreement. Such failure shall not be deemed to be a waiver of any preceding or subsequent breach and shall not constitute a continuing waiver.

7.5 The Contract (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap. 53B) shall not under any circumstances apply to this Agreement and any person who is not a party to this Agreement shall have no right whatsoever to enforce this Agreement or any of its terms.

7.6 If any applicable law or a court of competent jurisdiction holds or declares any provision of this Agreement to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable (whether in whole or in part), such provision shall be deemed modified to the extent, but only to the extent, of such invalidity, illegality or unenforceability and the remaining provisions of this Agreement shall not be affected.

7.7 This Agreement (including all subsequent additions or amendments) shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any matter or dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Singapore.
