The State Of Fun is a place of magic and wonder, with plenty of fantastic performances to tease the inner child in you. Watch the new Magical Shores, a new interactive audio-visual spectacle at Siloso Beach.

Over at Resorts World Sentosa is another flamboyant showcase, the Lake of Dreams (show at 11pm), which wows guests with flaming dragons, water cannons and other special effects set against a grandiose soundtrack. Both are free of charge.

But for a true relic of Sentosa’s history, you need to catch the Wings of Time extravaganza (shows at 7.40pm and 8.40pm). Having evolved from the island’s storied Musical Fountain act that opened back in 1982, the Wings of Time is a levelled up rendition with laser effects, pyrotechnics, live action and fireworks, while preserving the original performance’s art of towering, dancing water features. It’s a thing of beauty that never gets old.
