WHERE TO GET YOUR CAFFINE FIX ON SENTOSA ISLAND

Whether you are looking for a morning cuppa or a midday pick-me-up, there are several options on the island for a solid cup of coffee

You are never too far away from a caffeine fix, the island is dotted with cafes and restaurants serving up cups of coffee in the form of cappuccinos, Americanos and even good ol' Nanyang-style kopi.

Bringing a slice of Hokkaido, Japan to Sentosa is this coffee-spot where the cappuccinos and lattes are made with top-quality Hokkaido Milk. Expect a cuppa that is richer, creamier because of the BIEI Jersey milk from Brown Jersey Cow’s flown-in from Hokkaido. Plus, it is located on Siloso beach so pick-up your Iced Lattes ($7.50 onwards) and Flat Whites ($6.70) from here before heading over for some beach fun. Or beat the heat with Coffee Granita ($8.50) - shaved ice, and espresso concoction, topped with Hokkaido milk.

Joe & The Juice

Ask the residents and the regulars, Australian-chain Joe & the Juice serves Sentosa Cove’s best cup of joe. The cove Marina boardwalk is dotted with people sipping from their takeaway cups, or you could hang out in its cool library-style interiors. All the usual Espresso-based coffee drinks are available (Cappuccino, Lattes in all sizes and even Cold Brew and Drip Coffee. Prices begin at $4 for coffee-based drinks.

When it comes to a dependably good cup of coffee, you cannot go wrong with good ol’ Starbucks. From basic long blacks to Frappuccino®s in all sorts of flavours, pumpkin-spice deliciousness and even single-origin coffees from around the world. Their three locations at Imbiah Station, Resorts World and within Universal Studios Singapore, ensure that you are never too far away from a Starbucks-fix. Prices begin at $4.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf's location at Beach Station is right in the middle of all the action and makes it a natural coffee pit stop before or after any beach-side activity. Ice coffees and frozen coffee-based drinks are their popular orders but do try the Nitro Cold Brew. It is a blend of their premium Bali Blue Moon and Ethiopia Yirgacheffe coffees which are steeped for 20 hours for a rich, smooth and intense flavour.

Tanjong Beach Club

Among the variety of drink options available at this uber-popular beach club, a solid cup of coffee is among the more popular orders during the morning and brunch hours. Whether you are a part of the early-morning sports group at Tanjong Beach, or out for a beach run with your four-legged friend, make Tanjong Beach Club a compulsory pit stop for your morning cuppa along with brunch. Nothing like getting you caffeine fix on a white, sandy beach. Their milk-based coffees can even be had with almond or soy milk ($6 onwards).

When in Singapore, leave aside the cappuccinos and flat whites and get your caffeine-fix via good ol’ kopi. Strong, bold and made with freshly-ground caramelized coffee beans, both Toast Box and Toast & Curry serve the coffee shop mainstays of Kopi, Kopi C, Kopi O and more. Coffee is served either black, with condensed or evaporated milk and with varying levels of sweetness. Perfect pairings with this style of coffee or buttered slices of toast with kaya jam, and soft-boiled runny eggs. Prices begin at $1.50
