(C)HILL-TOP: WHAT TO DO AT FABER PEAK

The view from the other side.

Switch up the usual views at Faber Peak! The cosy hilltop has a unique selection of restaurants and views from iconic points of Mount Faber like Henderson Waves and Forest Walk, all equally Instagram-worthy to explore. And who can forget about the iconic cable cars which offer a bird's eye of the harbour, and of course, Sentosa.

Gaze at the sunset over drinks at Dusk Restaurant & Bar

If the melody is Dusk’s delicious food and drinks, then the accompaniment of a beautiful sunset that illuminates the landscape over Singapore would compliment it to compose the perfect evening. This balanced piece would not only lift some stress from your shoulders but wallets too. With Dusk’s daily happy hour promotion, you can get Spirits, Wine and Draft Beer at 25% OFF but still a 100% experience.

To enjoy this composition doesn’t actually take that much effort with complimentary cable car rides from Harbourfront to Mount Faber Cable Car Station every Friday and Saturday! The LATE NIGHT Happy Hour from 10pm-12am gets you drinks from as low as $7.

Fam-tastic feasts with a view at Arbora Hilltop Dining

Amidst the luscious greenery atop Mount Faber Park rests Arbora Hilltop Dining. The restaurant features Arbora Bistro, an indoor dining area, and Arbora Alfresco, which will be undergoing upgrading works till 8 December 2019. Fret not as Arbora Bistro will still be open to cater their all-day casual dining including western classics, refreshing craft beers and botanical-inspired drinks.

Do an OOTD at the Peek-a-loo

Did you know that the Faber Peak complex was known as the Jewel Box? We reckon it was named so because of this "unique" attraction: the Peek-a-Loo. Imagine panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows that allow you to peek out at the lush Mt Faber flora, the harbour, and Sentosa in the distance. Hailed as one of the best toilets in the world (we kid you not), the restrooms here offer a view like no other. This one's just perfect for the 'gram.

Check out a dazzling multimedia show

The memories at Arbora are not only limited to their guests’ experiences but the adventures of Mira and Mirak too! The pair of squirrels who live on an old Angsana tree at Arbora have a new tale to tell via a spectacular kaleidoscopic light show called Miraculous 2. In celebration of Singapore Cable Car's 45th anniversary, their adventures have become more dangerous and exciting as well.

Soak up sky-high sights of the harbour

Encapsulate a magical time while the city continues to bustle beneath your feet. Besides going on a joyride in a cable car to or from Sentosa, you can also enjoy a sky dining experience which offers three different themes such as Stardust Cabin, Singapore Flavours Cabin and Champagne Cabin. The Stardust Cabin comes with a 4-course meal, perfect for a couple to enjoy the romantic night sky. The Singapore Flavours Cabin brings 7 local delicacies to your plate. Finally, the Champagne Cabin includes a European tapas platter and a bottle of champagne as a pre-dinner treat.

Ring Poland's Bells of Happiness

1FG has recently unveiled the newly renamed Poland’s Bells of Happiness on Mount Faber on Tuesday, 29 Oct 2019, after the addition of a second commemorative bell of the “Dar Młodzieży” tall ship. The new bell commemorates the first anniversary of the vessel’s Singapore port of call in Oct 2018.

It is symbolically united with the existing Faber Peak’s “Bell of Happiness” from the majestic Polish ship “Dar Pomorza” – which was believed to bring good fortune to newlyweds and has rung in many wishes for joy and happiness since it was gifted to Singapore in 1992. The two bells now hang side by side to bring joy and “double happiness” to all who ring them.
