Unwind at Sentosa’s latest rooftop destination – 1-V:U

Get ready to kick back with a cocktail in hand while you stare into the expansive panoramic views of the of Palawan Beach, and the Singapore Straits at 1-V:U, Sentosa’s latest lifestyle destination located at The Outpost Hotel’s rooftop. Brought to us by the same people that gave us Monti at One Fullerton, and Yin at Clarke Quay, 1-V:U boasts a day club and a progressive Asian Restaurant helmed by Chef Ace Tan – think Bali’s Omnia.

If you’re there for dinner with friends, we recommend the communal dinner menu which features Chef Tan’s take on “Terra” (Land) and “Aqua” (Sea) dishes such as spiced duck breast ($30), glazed oyster blade steak ($40 / $75) and ‘Char Siew’ seared marinated Iberico secreto slices ($34). There’s also the seasonal tasting menu (from $98) where you can try a bit of everything. Recommended dishes from the day club include VU loaded chips with kombu truffle oil, sherry vinegar, grated parmesan ($12), and the ‘Mala-gherita’ pizza ($20; hot Szechuan tomato sauce, confit tomatoes, Thai basil and mozzarella).
