MAKE TIME FOR A BALANCED DAY ON SENTOSA FOR ALL BUDGETS

Looking for places to unwind and have fun? Here are a few itinerary ideas for a balanced day out on Sentosa that are wallet-friendly and fun.

Planning for a day out can be a hassle — especially when you’re on a budget. If you need an escape from the busy metropolis, there’s no better place than Sentosa. Get a buzz out of your busy schedules and spend a balanced day out with your family, friends or loved ones.

There are plenty of things to do and experiences on the island, from free outdoor activities and heartstopping adventures to delicious eats — we have them all!

Here are some itinerary ideas that are easy to follow.

R and R day with new adventures

10am: Relax and go offline at Imbiah Trail

Start your day by refreshing your senses and hike along Imbiah Trail. Take a tranquil path and admire the greenery to unwind and relax. Take things slow while you and your squad enjoy the surroundings. Tucked away like a hidden gem, this 2.3km network trail takes about 30 to 40 minutes to complete. There are many fun, man-made structures along the trail, such as the Tempinis Cascade and the sleeping rock dragon that are insta-worthy.

12pm: Have a blast at Mega Adventure Park

Located near Imbiah Trail, make your way to Mega Adventure Park for a bucketload of thrills. Face your fears, and conquer the high elements here. Soar above the island on a 450-metre zipline or try free-falling from a height of 14 metres on MegaJump. You can also challenge yourself to conquer them all;  put your balancing skills to the test on the treetop obstacle course, MegaClimb.

2pm: Energize and chill at Coastes

Recharge and grab a light lunch at Coastes. Or perhaps cool off with a beer. This is a go-to-spot if you are looking for a relaxed meal by the beach. Coastes serves delicious pizzas, pasta, burgers and sandwiches. Plus, they even serve a Curry Laksa for those who prefer a local flavour.

5pm: Chillout at the Beach

Bask in the evening sun or go for a swim. There are plenty of activities you can enjoy by the beach for free. The nearest beach from Coastes is SIloso Beach, one of Singapore's liveliest beaches for fun activities. There are beach courts available for beach activities like throwing a frisbee, volleyball or simply find a shady spot to chill.

7pm: Dinner at Trapizza

Wood-fired oven pizzas — something we can’t resist. If you are a fan of crispy thin-crust pizzas, look no further. Trapizza serves exquisite pizzas that are reasonably priced with a variety of choices — from classic Margherita ($22) to Pizza Italia ($22) of pepperoni, salami, roasted capsicum, spinach, mozzarella and parmesan. The family-friendly restaurant is not only equipped with a play corner for kids, they also serve 16-inch family-style pizzas where you can choose your own favourite toppings.

8pm: Magical night by the beach

Take a stroll back to Beach Station after a filling meal. End your day with a spectacular show for free. Experience Siloso Beach by night at Magical Shores —an outdoor, interactive light and sound spectacle that ignites all senses.

Travel ‘around the world’ in Sentosa

9am: Travel to Sentosa

Coming into Sentosa from the city? You can now enter Sentosa for free via car or Sentosa Express until 30 Sep 2021. Alternatively, you can travel "out" to Sentosa via Sentosa Board Walk, a 670m shaded boardwalk that is entirely free to walk, scoot or bicycle into the island!

Skipping public transport? From 1 January to 31 March 2021, enjoy $4 off a Grab ride into Sentosa with this sweet promo code: SentosaFun (while codes last, so be quick!).

10am: Explore Singapore’s History

Built on Pulau Blakang Mati (or Sentosa)'s western end, relive Singapore’s wartime history at Fort Siloso, Singapore only preserved coastal fort. The on-site military museum takes you through the stories of Singapore's past, which can be found at Guns of Sentosa, Battery Command Post and Surrender Chambers.

Fort Siloso is also accessible via Fort Siloso Skywalk where you can take in the view from high up. Trek among treetops and enjoy the view from the 11-storey, 181 meters long Fort Siloso Skybridge.

1pm: Breeze along the beaches

Pick up the pace at GoGreen Segway Eco Adventures. Hop on and master the futuristic Segway to explore our beaches. This is a perfect activity to begin your beach journey along the beach. Enjoy the sea breeze and have fun. You can explore Palawan and Siloso Beach on this 60-minute ride at Segway Eco Adventure, suited for adults and kids!

2pm: All about the Aloha vibes- Watersports and Cocktails

For the perfect way to cool off in the afternoon sun, head to Ola Beach Club where you can enjoy watersports such as paddleboarding and kayaking.  Harness the power of water-propelled rides such as the Donut or the Banana Boat for the ultimate rush.

Have a whole lot of fun in the meantime, while you grab lunch at Ola Beach Club. Complete your chillout vibe at Ola Beach Club. This Hawaiian-themed beach club serves Tiki-style cocktails and Hawaiian favourites such as Huli Huli Chicken, and Loco Moco.

4pm: Japanese Coffee break

Have room for desserts? Head to Baristart coffee right outside Rumours Beach Club. This coffee spot serves top-notch cappuccinos and lattes made with premium Hokkaido milk. Bringing a slice of Japan to Sentosa, treat yourself to a creamy Soft Cream Ice Cream, made from Hokkaido BIEI Jersey milk flown-in from Hokkaido. Or beat the heat with a Hokkaido Shaved Ice ($9.80) — cute shaved ice in the shape of a bear, and served with vanilla ice cream, slices of orange, mango, kiwi, and your choice of syrup. Something new to try on the menu are the Tonic Floats. Choose between machine-pressed espresso or Ceylon txpresso, build with tonic water, and topped with soft-serve.

5pm: Luge through the rainforest

Forge ahead to Skyline Luge Sentosa to get your adrenaline pumping. Whether you’re in for an adrenaline kick or if you prefer something more chilled, there’s sure to be the perfect trail for you. Skyline Luge Sentosa has four different tracks to choose from — Dragon (688m), Expedition (658m), Kupu Kupu (638m) and Jungle (628m) trails.

6pm: Dinner with a view

Take Bus B from Beach Station to make your way to Quayside Isle for dinner. With an array of dining options and cuisines to choose, from Asian and Spanish to Greek, you can wine and dine amidst an Aussie-like bayfront setting. For a full guide on what to eat at Quayside Isle, click here for more.
