Have a total of three hours to kill between breakfast and lunch? Or looking to spend three hours of quality time with the family in-between attractions? Let us chart out a few easy-breezy itineraries for you to make the most of the hours while having maximum fun. From the best ways to navigate a popular attraction, to a completely free exploration trek.

9:30am: A nature hike

Begin the day’s adventure with a hike along Sentosa’s Imbiah trail. The 1.8km nature walk takes you along the summit of Mount Imbiah, which is a forest-covered hill, there is Mt. Imbiah Battery which served to screen all merchant vessels entering the Singapore harbour. Along the trail, spot heritage trees, and a converted old monorail track. This is a mostly shaded walk where tons of photo ops and learning opportunities will arise. Climb up the bird-watching tower at the summit for some breathtaking views of the South China Sea.

11am: A daredevil challenge

Head to nearby Mega Adventure Park, for a family-style adrenaline challenge, got older kids? Everyone can zip from a height of 75 metres at 60kmph, over the lush Imbiah forest below. Younger ones can try the MegaBounce, which is a fun-filled bungee trampoline.

11:45am: Chill out with a cold one

With adrenaline at an all-time high, cool off with a drink at Ola Beach Club. Beer, tiki cocktails or wine for the grown-ups, and kids can opt for juices or a fresh, young coconut. A drink or meal at Ola Beach Club comes with some free entertainment too, you can watch people try their hand at water sports like the Jetpack, Banana Boat and Stand Up Paddleboard.

9am: Go Explorin’

Start at Siloso’s Cableway to join a group excursion to Singapore’s last remaining coastal cliffs and rocky shores. Explore the Siloso Headland at Tanjung Rimau with an experienced tour guide in a tour. You will see corals, seagrass, and a wide variety of marine wildlife and beautiful landscape. The tour is free, but the experience is priceless for families with kids who may be budding explorers and nature enthusiasts.

11am: Pizza Brunchin’

After all that exploring, everyone deserves a treat. Head to nearby Trapizza for a spot of lunch/brunch. Kids and grown-ups will enjoy their thin-crust wood-fired pizza (they serve a 16” family-style pizza too, that can be easily shared by four).

11:45am: Cool off with a dip

For a relaxing end to three hours of fun, take advantage of Trapizza’s beachside location to take a quick dip in the waters of Siloso Beach to cool off before you make your way home.

4pm: Selfies with the Stars

For sweltering hot days, spend some time in the air-conditioned comfort of Madame Tussauds Singapore while you rub shoulders with the life-like wax statues of movie stars, sports celebrities and state leaders. If you are a Bollywood buff, they have a large cast of Indian movie stars and a new Ultimate Film Star Experience starring acclaimed director-actor Karan Johar, and Shahid Kapoor. Marvel fans will love the 4D Cinema experience, and there is a Spirit of Singapore boat ride, and so much more to do.

6pm: Soar in the skies

After the starry hob-nobbing, take the most picturesque ride out of the island by taking the cable car from Imbiah Lookout Station to Mount Faber Station. Your journey will take you over Sentosa’s attractions, water bodies, a lush forest and more, and a cable car ride at dusk is oh so special!

6:30pm: Sunset drinks

Get off the cable car, and a stunning sight awaits. Head to Dusk Restaurant & Bar for drinks and (if you have time) a meal, with an unbeatable view from 100m above sea level. There are European tapas, a special kids menu and an exhaustive drinks list. Bonus points if you are there while the sun sets.
