A WEEKEND IN SINGAPORE TO INDULGE IN LUXURY
Singapore is packed with luxury experiences, from celebrity chef restaurants, high-end boutiques, luxury shopping precincts and hotel stays and spas that regularly top the ‘best of’ lists.
Here is how you spend an ultimate weekend of luxury, in Singapore.
STAY
Look no further than Sentosa Cove’s W Singapore. The slick resort provides a fabulous backdrop for luxuriously indulgent vacations in the yacht-lined Sentosa Cove. All you need to eat, drink and do is right at your doorstep.
From spectacular rooms to the WET pool (which is easily their top draw). Splurge-worthy stays are the Away Suites, complete with plunge pools, cabanas and garden terraces, or the Wow suites with large rooms, pool views and balcony plunge pools.
DAY 1
MORNING
Day one should begin with a fun-filled adventure at Universal Studios Singapore. Still, there is no reason to waste time in queues or jostling with crowds. Opt for the VIP experience and visit the amusement park like a celebrity. Priority access to rides, a five-hour guided tour, souvenirs and a private meet-and-greet session with your favourite movie characters — are all-inclusive; if you bring your kids, they will be overjoyed with all of the special treatment.
AFTERNOON
Break for a late lunch with a coveted table at Resorts World Sentosa's Michelin-starred Table65. Celebrity chefs Richard van Oostenbrugge and Thomas Groot’s put their creative spin on modern European cuisine. Expect drama moments with visual projections, levitating creations and a full-on sensory experience.

EVENING
Get off the island for the day's next indulgent adventure. Head to the iconic Marina Bay Sands, where you can start by opting for a VIP experience at the ArtScience Museum. Private tours of the exhibits, immersive curated visits that include hands-on workshops, or an exclusive photoshoot with the museum’s best art installations as a backdrop.

NIGHT
Dinner at one of Marina Bay Sands’ iconic celebrity chef restaurants would provide a fitting end to the day. Two-Michelin-starred Waku Ghin combines a zen-like ambience with exquisite, innovative Japanese cuisine and an excellent cocktail programme. The complete experience will be one for the books.
DAY 2
MORNING
After a hearty hotel breakfast at The Kitchen Table, book yourself for a bespoke experience at Scentopia.

NOON
For lunch, pick an omakase experience at Singapore’s Michelin-starred Shinji by Kanesaka. An Edo-style sushi restaurant first set up in Tokyo's exclusive Ginza district, they have elevated the omakase experience to an art form. We are partial to their outlet at the St Regis, for its slightly more luxurious confines.
EVENING
Did you know that Sentosa is not the only island off the coast of Singapore. There are also the lesser-known Southern Islands (St. John's and Lazarus) that provide a rustic charm and a far cry from anything on the mainland. If rustic is not your thing, a luxe way to explore them is via the Sentosa Sunset Cruise. Set sail aboard a luxury yacht, wine and wine onboard and even pick up a tip or two on sustainable fishing.
An evening to remember as you watch the sunset over the Southern Islands and enjoy a meal under the starry sky.
NIGHT
If you still have room and energy for more, W Singapore’s WOOBAR serves excellent cocktails and has an impressive wine and spirits list for one last nightcap before you end the weekend of indulging.
