Come to Sentosa, you must.

Southeast Asia’s largest sand festival is back! Sentosa Sandsation: STAR WARS Edition is happening from 31 August to 15 September on an island not that far away.

Experience iconic scenes right out of STAR WARS: The Force Awakens, and STAR WARS: The Last Jedi recreated by local and international sand sculptors.

19 larger-than-life sand sculptures of your favourite STAR WARS characters

Expect to see the likes of Rey, Obi Wan Kenobi, Poe Dameron, R2-D2, and more all meticulously sculpted in sand – all 2,000 tonnes of it – by critically-acclaimed Singapore sand artist, JOOheng Tan and his hand-picked team of international sand sculptors.

And these sculptures aren’t just miniature models; some even reach a length of height of 5.5 metres and a length of 9.1 metres! Better free up some storage because you’re definitely going to want to take more than just a bit of photos for the ‘gram.

P.S. Spot the STAR WARS: The rise of Skywalker easter eggs.
