41. How do I convert from Individual Islander to Family Islander, vice versa?

Here are several scenarios that you may want to consider:

To convert from an Individual Islander to a Family Islander

A new family membership cost S$50.00. However, as a current Individual Islander member, we’re happy to offer you the family membership at S$40 (which is the renewal rate for family membership).

2) My Individual membership is still valid but I wish to convert it to a family membership:

a) I am married and have kids (all under the ages of 3):
- We would encourage your spouse to take up an Individual Islander (S$19.50) instead of the family membership (S$40.00) as children under ages of 3 are not chargeable for admission into Sentosa.

b) I am married and have kids (all above the age of 3):
- We would encourage you to sign up your family members under the Family membership while you continue to utilize your Individual membership until it expires. After which, you can add yourself onto your family’s membership at a cost of only S$10.50. [Please refer to Question 20]

3) My Individual  membership has already expired:

You can join the Family membership by paying S$50.00 to enjoy a full year of benefits.

To convert from a Family membership to an Individual membership

1) My Family membership is still valid (not expiring soon):

We would advise you to hold onto your Family membership first.  When you Family membership expires, you can convert to an Individual membership and only pay the renewal rate of S$15.00 (instead of the new Individual membership fee of $19.50).

2) My Family membership is expiring soon (in less than 3 months):

Upon the expiry of your Family membership, you can convert to an Individual membership and only pay the renewal rate of S$15.00 (instead of the new Individual membership fee of $19.50).

3) My Family membership has already expired:

You can join the Individual membership by paying S$19.50 to enjoy a full year of benefits.
