Singapore Experience Awards 2010

We congratulate Kasturi D/O Haridas, Supervisor, Attractions Management Unit, for winning the coveted title of ‘Customer Service – Visitor Attraction’ in the Singapore Experience Awards 2010!

The Singapore Experience Awards recognises organisations and individuals that have made outstanding contributions to enhance Singapore’s image as a premier tourist destination. Award categories encompass a wide cross-section of tourism sectors including Hospitality, Retail, Dining, Entertainment, Attractions, Business Travel & MICE, Education and Healthcare.

This is the second time that Sentosa is in the finals for this award category since the inauguration of the Awards.

We celebrate this win with Kasturi for her contribution in delivering good experiences and driving up service standards to keep Singapore as a top tourist destination. We continue to support Kasturi and our service ambassadors so that they may give of their best in delivering Sentosa WAVE* experiences for our guests and achieve greater service excellence for Sentosa and Singapore.

SPRING Singapore's Excellent Service Awards (EXSA) 2009

Lead Attractions Host, Mohmad Amiruddin Casperico Bin Ali, won the coveted EXSA Attractions SuperStar award.

He is one of ten employees, out of 15,713 outstanding service staff from 375 companies, who clinched the SuperStar Award, the highest honour in EXSA recognising outstanding service.

Thanks to our guests' support and recognition of our service efforts, Sentosa continues to rake in one of the highest number of winners amongst all the attractions in Singapore – in total, we have 115 winners out of 413 within the Attractions industry (1 SuperStar winner, 14 Stars, 33 Gold, 67 Silver).

IAAPA Brass Rings Awards 2009

The IFEA's 54 th Pinnacle Awards pays homage to festivals and special event promotions of the highest standards around the world.

In the annual 2009 IAAP Brass Ring Awards, Sentosa was awarded the Best Radio Commercial for our 2008/09 Siloso Beach Party radio campaign! Judged by a panel of 50 attractions industry professionals, Sentosa is pitting against international competition. This award reaffirms Sentosa's creative direction and serves as encouragement to deliver even more high quality productions.

IFEA/Haas & Wilkerson Pinnacle Award 2009

The Brass Ring Awards reward and recognise the best in advertising, marketing and public relations in the attractions industry.

Sentosa swept a total of 7 awards at the recent International Festival & Events Association's (IFEA) Pinnacle Award Ceremony. The accolades include Gold, 2 Silver and 2 Bronze. Out of which, Siloso Beach Party campaign bagged 3 awards - Best TV Promotion (Gold), Best Street Banner (Silver) and Best Miscellaneous Multimedia (Bronze) for the campaign's Facebook page.

Asian Attractions Awards 2009 (Large Attraction category)

For the third year running, Sentosa has won the much coveted award for the Large Attraction category at the IAAPA (International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions) Asian Attractions Expo 2009! Up against the region's best, Sentosa edged out other well-known attractions in the same category including Hong Kong Disneyland, China's Chimelong Water Park and Korea's Lotte World.

Winners were determined purely by viewers' votes from across the region. So a big thank you to all of our supporters for their generous votes and enthusiastic support.
